| Graduated scrims - Approximately one-third of the graduated scrim has no wire net, allowing unhindered light transmission. The next third is covered by a single scrim. The final third has a double scrim. This device creates light fall-off on walls or prevents closer subjects from becoming too bright as they approach the light source.
