Plug & Play
I recently rebuilt a number of Lutron NT dimmers for my light kit. In the past I really struggled with securing 12 gauge wire with screws and keeping it secured. I decided to give the Lex Lex-Loc Edison plugs a go. They have a locking lever that you open, insert your wire and then fully close the lever to terminate the connection. It takes a bit finesse and luck using 12 gauge wire. Smaller gauge wire should be a breeze to install and terminate. In the end I'm a huge fan of the Lex Lex-Loc system and plan to continue using them on future builds.
Locking lever termination is ingenious. Properly locked, it should remain locked.
Larger gauge wire can cause character development (patience).
