This C-stand features an adjustable third leg, often referred to as a 'Rocky Mountain leg.' This unique design allows for stable rigging in tight spaces or on uneven terrain, making it the ideal choice for challenging shooting environments.
Sliding Top Leg for Secure Rigging
The sliding top leg, or 'Rocky Mountain leg,' enables secure rigging even in restrictive situations. It can be adjusted to accommodate inclined terrain or safely mount modifiers or fixtures on staircases. The large T-handle knobs from Matthews provide a secure grip for locking down the position of the leg.
Strong and Sturdy Construction
Capable of supporting gear up to 22 lb, this C-stand rises to heights up to 10.5'. Matthews includes a Hollywood Grip Head and a 40" Hollywood Grip Arm to extend the reach of your rig. The grip head and arm feature serrations for extra friction, ensuring a strong grip on light modifiers and small fixtures. The heads accept both 5/8" baby pins and 3/8" pins.
