New Rifa EX Model. Shoot Tungsten or Daylight by Simply Changing Lamps!
The New Rifa Ex utilizes an interchangeable lamphead (socket) system that quickly twists and disconnects allowing the use of lower wattage tungsten lamps or daylight balanced spiral fluourescent lamps. The Rifa LC-88EX will accept (3) 65W Daylight (5500K) fluorescent lamps with the use of the optional FLO-X3 accessory lamp head. Lowel Rifa 88 is the largest of the Lowel Rifa family. Its diffusion screen measures a full 32" square, making it the softest Rifa available. Use it with its maximum 1000w lamp for highest output, or switch to either a 750 or 500w lamp for decreased output with the same level of softness. Note: Using a lower wattage lamp with this model may allow you to move the light in closer to the subject, thus increasing the relative softness even further.
